Annmarie Ekey Cunningham, President and Principal Consultant of Coach To Capacity, is a dynamic leader with expertise in complex systems change and crisis leadership. With over 20 years in education, Annmarie has extensive experience in leadership coaching. During her career, Annmarie collaborated with senior leadership and district offices to support the needs of diverse schools and communities, with expertise in organizational change and school turnaround.  She began her career as an elementary school teacher and then moved into school and district-level leadership positions in urban schools, working with leaders navigating uncertainty.

Annmarie holds a doctorate in Organizational Leadership, with a focus on supporting educational system leaders through crises, complexity, and change. Annmarie was honored to receive the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award in 2019 from The George Washington University, Graduate School of Education, and serves on the Graduate School of Education Dean's Committee. Additionally, Annmarie holds certifications as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation and is a certified practitioner of the EQ-i2.0, Change Navigator, and Change Style Indicator with Multi-Health Systems. She is active in multiple professional associations and has presented at conferences on change leadership and emotional intelligence.
